Charlie Clippert
Charlie Clippert, who began his career with the Ramsey County Public Defender's office in 1995, has been a Minnesota criminal lawyer for over 12 years.
During his nine years with Ramsey County, Charlie has represented clients charged with everything from simple misdemeanors to murder. Charlie was twice recognized as the attorney in the office with the most jury trials. In 2004, Charlie left the Public Defender's Office to join a small law firm where he practiced civil litigation, criminal defense and criminal appeals. Charlie joined Caplan Law Firm in 2007. Charlie recognizes that a person facing criminal prosecution also faces the vast resources of the state, and justice can only be served if the person is represented by a lawyer prepared to present a zealous defense.
Charlie is also actively involved in the legal community. He is an adjunct professor of law at William Mitchell College of Law. He also currently serves as the President of the Ramsey County Bar Association.
